  1. More than that, they are listing the whole short kit for £127!!
  2. I've looked on Sariks web site this evening and they are showing the model and listing product codes for the wood sets etc. So, hopefully they will be doing a kit soon!!
  3. Hi everyone. Has anyone built a Gangster 63 Lite recently? I've just completed the main build and I have some parts left over. I've scoured through the build instructions and I simply can't find where the bits are supposed to go. I've got an F15A. This looks like it might go in the fuselage to support the trailing edge of the wing. But it's not described in the instructions anywhere. Also, I've got 4 parts 22. Again, they are not mentioned in the manual. Oddly, I have two other parts 22 which are very different and I reckon they are the supports for the main servo rails. I've go some other bits as well which seem to be duplicates of tail fin parts. I'm a bit confused. Any ideas would be really welcome because I would hate to build the plane with potentially important parts missing. Cheers Nick Edited By William Walker on 13/11/2019 11:46:51
  4. Thanks everyone for the comments and advice. I'm not entirely sure I'm any the wiser, but there are some interesting points and suggestions raised. Yeah. I think it's probably going to be the DB 84". I think the bigger the better with my eyesight Cheers. Nick (William).
  5. Hi everyone. I'm after a bit of advice from anyone who knows about Piper Cub kits please. I've come back to all this after 30ish years and want to do a build of something scale-ish, but reasonably easy to fly. I'm not bothered about aerobatics and all that stuff. So a Piper Cub (Electric) came to mind. Cost is not really the prime thing. I'm mainly after a good kit which will build well and fly properly. I'm currently re-honing my flying skills with a Riot V2. So far I can see 3 possible candidates: SFM Cub 40, 68". HobbyKing Piper J3, 70" DB Sport Piper Cub, 84" The DB seems to be a fairly comprehensive kit. But it's big. I seem to find mixed reactions to the HobbyKing. I can't really find much about the SFM. So, if you know anything about building and flying these kits please share your thoughts. They will be very much appreciated. Thanks. Nick. Edited By William Walker on 28/08/2019 18:07:14
  6. Hi everyone. I'm Nick from Lincoln. I'm returning to the hobby after some 30 years and currently re-honing my somewhat mediocre skills with the Bardney Flyers and a RiotV2. I would really like to hear everyone's views on next steps. I want to do a wood kit build but there seems to be endless possibilities. Any ideas for a good second trainer that doesn't need too many advanced skills to build? Cheers. Nick
