Hi Carlos

I can only take my hat to you.. What an impressive list of works.. Thank you.

I use a larger battery rather than adding weight..

The spar felt very stiff and the intention was that this takes the bending loads. It feels easily capable of that. The hope was that the skin will add the torsional stiffness - and it does feel pretty resistant to twisting. With the skin glued onto the other side it now weighs 250g - so that’s 500g for a 1.7m span wing before servos are added etc. That seems pretty good to me?
Cans are earning their worth again😂! I am following with great interest..

I rarely have more than 1 on the go. I am a doer/shaper.. If I start it I finish it asap.. That has been my personality and it continues with my hobby too.

Here's my take on the dolly that I intend to use for all the mass built aircraft and a couple of other warbirds I have.
Materials:
- 15mm x 2m plastic water pipe with 4 elbows and 8 self tapping screws to fix them to the front and rear braces
-
2x 120mm and 1 x 90 mm 2x Avios Bushmule wheels
-
8 x 32 x 650mm wood piece ( Central connector)
-
16 x 16 x 80mm square wood piece (front brace and rear wheel supports)
-
2 x 80x100mm pieces of 6mm ply for the front and rear wheel bases)
-
1 x old landing gear (mine with 48 cm width)
-
3mm x 100mm piano wire and 2 x 10mm fuel pipe as spacers for the rear wheel
-
2 x 8mmx8mm square bass wood pieces.
-
2 x 40mm x 100 mm shrink tube
-
8 x 4mm x 30mm nuts/bolts
-
4 x undercarriage fixing clamps and 8 self tapping crews
-
2m 15mm foam pipe insulation for the seats
Overall size of the dolly is ca 75 cm by 32 cm. NOT FIELD TESTED YET!!

I would go something not so common.. I would be happy P47, YAK, LA7 etc. Complexity is not a big issue for me. Zero will be great too..

Exhaust details were added.
Completed the decals and the panel lines with minimal weathering. May do more when I receive my pencil set. It looks too busy to my eye at this stage. Set the CG at 80mm with 80gr of weight in the box.
I still to paint the prop adapter... and seal the paint/weathering with PlastiKote clear sealer...

Ours is tiny compared to yours it still takes us a couple of hours to cut the grass. I think that is a good price to pay for what you have. Enjoy.

What a lovely field Ron.. Plenty of space to take a long slow approach for landing..

Hi
I have just purchased a glider out of an estate without an any specifications. I have managed to track down a post by PatMc on a John Hall Diamond and this appears to be the glider I have purchased. Not sure that PatMc had the original specifications since it dates back to 1980, but any help would be appreciated, particularly with the COG.
