Exhaust details were added. Completed the decals and the panel lines with minimal weathering. May do more when I receive my pencil set. It looks too busy to my eye at this stage. Set the CG at 80mm with 80gr of weight in the box. I still to paint the prop adapter... and seal the paint/weathering with PlastiKote clear sealer...

Ours is tiny compared to yours it still takes us a couple of hours to cut the grass. I think that is a good price to pay for what you have. Enjoy. -

What a lovely field Ron.. Plenty of space to take a long slow approach for landing.. -

The motor I used is 4Max 3547 960 KV, which should give me over 500watts. The shaft was chopped off after covering the motor with a nylon bag and tape as mentioned earlier. The website suggests 10x6 prop but this may not be very effective due to the size of the cowling.. I will try an 11 x 5 or 12 x 4 to check which performs better. I used PS-1171MG metal gear servos. I used primarily Delux Materials Speed bond for most of the balsa/ply gluing. I used clear gorilla glue for gluing the cowling to F1, the wing bolt holder, the fin and the stabiliser. I used the brown gorilla glue for gluing the wings, and its attachments. Only in a few occasions used some super glue very carefully due to my allergy to the cyano.

Not a very good photo with the work table background, but together with the completed one it shows the motor mount. I have doubled up the firewall as suggested. Later I chopped off the motor shaft too so that nothing is sticking into the battery bay. I screwed the cowling as per Ron's suggestion so that it can be taken off. I added the cockpit details upfront. I have opted for installation of permanent servo cables for the ailerons enabling connection in the servo boxes. This enabled me to join the wings with no cabling effort. I used snakes with carbon rod and clevices Cyano glued, the connector is slightly crimped and shrink tubed at both ends. I also added snake outlet covers.
