  1. I too have those voices... As Richard will confirm the mosquito has been a huge project.... The first prototype is being assembled.... Patience Padawan
  2. Kim,this might put it into perspective 500kv = 600kv =
  3. Kim, PM Richard, I'm sure he has one stashed away.
  4. Richard has been sourcing some 600kv motors at a good price that would do the job well
  5. Hi Kim, You might find the 500kv a little lacklustre on rpm for a 4S. It will give more flight time but would probably need to be at full throttle for most of the flight and be close to stalling speed. I would look to something closer to 600kv.
  6. It does fly well... really well... actually really well. Power train Preditor 580kv and 14x9x3 master airscrew prop and 4S 3300mah. Just ask Richard...
  7. We're all doomed doooomed I say
  8. But if your modelling that aircraft you'll need to fly it into a London house... to be authentic....
  9. Nice job Eric Like the colour scheme...it matches the wallpaper 👌
  10. An interesting thing about the P51's ground handling was that the tailwheel was castering for taxi and steered by differential brakes, but then locked by pulling back fully on the stick for take off so our fixed setup does mimic the real one.
  11. Out of interest this is the 11lb Hellcat flying on a NTM 5050 580KV using a 16x8x3 and a 4S 4000mAh battery 5 mins flying time.
  12. Also has a fixed tailwheel and ground handling is good.
  13. That's about the weight of mine and she flies well with a 4 blade.
  14. I'm using the predator 580kv with the FMS 4 blade and find it has plenty of thrust. I also have the original FMS P51 with the cable tie mod but this is with the original 540KV motor, this puts its performance little below par of the 580KV but better than the original. How much is its all up flying weight?
  15. Gordon I have a 5050 580KV running a 16x8x3 4S 4000mAh on a 62" 11lb Hellcat and gives good scale performance for a 5 minute flight.
