  1. Hi Ed, thanks for the advice. I’ve fitted the existing needle valve and the new needle valve housing to the carb body and it all works fine. Fantastic advice as always on this forum!!!!
  2. Flip, really I actually didn’t know that lol. I will try that at the weekend when I’m home again. Really appreciate ur advice
  3. Cheers Engine Doctor, let me know if you find a spare. The needle valve assy part number I need is EVO040874 Outrunner - I knew when I bought it that there was an issue with the needle valve assy.
  4. Thanks guys, perhaps I didn’t explain myself very well. The needle valve I have does not fit into the carb body it’s as if the outer diameter of the needle valve is too big to fit into the body. My question was if I can’t find spare parts are there any aftermarket assemblies that can be fitted to replace the original one. Cheers Paul
  5. Hi guys, I've just purchase a 2nd hand Evolution 60 engine (on ebay) and the remote needle valve does not fit into where it used to. It look as if someone had modified it for a specific model, does anyone know where I could get a new one or fit an aftermarket replacement?

  16. Hi Check ebay as they have plans there for £7, Im currently running 2 versions of the limbo. One with a 40 in it and the other electric. I run it on a 4s lipo with a A2826-5T motor and 13 x 6.5 prop and lets just say its lively! SLEC do an electric conversion kit if you ask them, it only costs about £10-£15 quid along with some wood to extend the CG out a bit, but works great. If you need pics let me know Cheers Paul
  17. Hi Do you still need a photocopy of the instructions Cheers Paul
  18. Thanks Shaun, I will remove the back from the DX6I and check the ariel. When we were buddied together we were no more than 2 feet apart. Failing that I may send to Als hobbies
  19. Hi guys Has anyone experienced any problems when using wireless trainer mode on a DX6E transmitter as the master and DX6I as the slave set. The plane was a Wot 4 Foam E To explain more my son was flying on his DX6I and I was in master control with the DX6E if anything went wrong. He took off and flew for one complete battery without any problems. Then we brought it down changed the batterie still with the transmitters bound together wirelessley, we done a quick control check and all was fine he took off again and flew for a couple of mins and then the plane went haywire I tried to take control but seemed I had no control 10 secs later the plane hit the deck. Has anyone experienced this before, my DX6E is a couple of months old my sons is slightly older and we bought it off ebay, we have done range checks etc and all have always been ok. The only thing is we cant move his transmitter ariel as the hinge is broken so we have it heat shrinked. Any ideas? Thanks and appreciate your feedback
  20. Guy's HI I'm reasonably new to the forum and I know you have talked about EPO glue a lot, my son was flying his Wot 4 Foam E at the weekend and the ground jumped out in front of him. What is a good glue to use for gluing the fuselage and wings. Cheers Paul
