  1. Batteries and Bullet plugs/sockets. This is the way I've done it...I look forward to some stick if I've blundered but here goes; Male gold plug to battery RED with red shrink over wire and shoulder of plug ONLY. Female socket to battery with BLACK shrink all the way to the end. Female gold socket to controller Positive with red shrink all the way to the end. Male gold plug Negative with black shrink to the shoulder. Lead pairs are the same length to eliminate chance of connecting them together! (especially the battery pair)
  2. Yes, I crashed, second time in two months and the same (exactly) syptoms: my electric/glider had been in the air 10 to 12 minutes at varying degrees of throttle and I was heading home when a rolling dive occurred. There was no response at all to my twiddling of the sticks. The controller is BEC. Theory is the the BEC had kicked in and I hadn't noticed the fact, so twiddling the sticks may have drained the battery. Anyone care to comment?
  3. MPX Easy Glider: I've just reached the completion stage and am now wondering about the control surface throws: should they be as stated or less? Reason is I flew the TWIN STAR on recommende throws but had to adjust radically.
  4. Not exactly in context with this article but nevertheless very important is: I have been advised to cut off the nice, safe and secure plugs and sockets that came with my batteries, and swap them for seperate gold plugs and sockets, but no-one has offered a standard configuration i.e. one plug, one socket on the battery and ditto on the target equipment. Would they be in line or offset; would the male be on the battery positive. Or perhaps it is irrelevent!
