Thanks for your reply, looks exactly the same I think. Is the wing 2 pieces or one?any other details welcome!
Off the box, Bird of Time is clear, but the manufacturer is 'Dyna????'
Two piece 2.18 m span the mid section is flat, 1.16 m, with upturned tip sections. No control surfaces on the flat bottomed wing.

It looks like one I have. Mine was converted to use 3S lipo and weighted for the slope.

It does not look as pretty as it did due to the patched covering which makes it well and truly my Winter hack.
But maybe not judging by these recent flying shots.
Looks fine at fifty feet even though it's a bit worse for wear. A big thankyou to Mike Mennell for the excellent pictures.

Sorted now

This issue has help explain why there are sometimes more than one apparent route to do a certain task though. I'm sure there are other examples of tasks that are held on more than one menu. I often wondered why. Looks like the good people at Spektrum have thought these things out with good reason.
It will certainly make me think and investigate any other " dual route " functions that I come across going forward.

I started with the DW J3 Cub 1200 wingspan. The idea being, as it's a flat wing, to build on the kitchen table during the cold winter months. I leaned at lot as I found it a very steep learning curve that was not as easy as I first thought. The one lesson I did learn was that every build is practise for the next. Having now got in to double figures I am beginning to know what to expect, but only just.🤣

How are you progressing @Graham R?
I have been working on the fuselage by adding stringers and other bits.
this is what it will look like as inspired by Peggy Sue
This is the side for the two switches, something else to think about. 🤣
Next I will add all the bits to the other side while I make a decision about the switches which I also need to buy.

On the day of the test it was by no means easy as Robert treated me no differently to any other pilot.
When did you take the test, obviously before the U/C rule came in.

Gifted Glider, but what is it please?

Yes that is the same as mine. Also putting the two halves together, for the first time ever, I can confirm it's a polyhedral wing. I wanted the motor to go in the Bird of Time, now I am thinking I should fit a smaller motor and fly it.
