Spektrum AR8360T RX 8 channel or AR10360T 10 channel
AS3X model
Anyone have a spare kicking about
Thanks
-
Aliexpress do a whole MK24 V2 5 blade model in camo or desert for about £130 under the AF brand name but they are Durafly as all the literature is Durafly. With the exception of the motor and prop you have 100% spares.
My 4 blade model had a prop from some other warbird flew as expected, bit of a search should yield a suitable spare

Leccyflyer, Many thanks for the heads up.
I've just completed a 1000 mods to the "kit" and they've discontinued it. Outer wings seem popular
-
Looking for outer wing set.
Would also take whole model
Thanks

As above, I've used all of the above mentioned stores and never had an issue. If unsure I message.
Amazon prime is also good but you pay a premium.
Batteries, HRB via ebay - Yoowoo or similar name or direct from China.
Aliexpress, fantastic prices and service if you're not in a hurry
Banggood , Oh dear!

Thanks for the reply,
Electric model.
I have the two mixes above for differential throttles on Thr and Aux1 and they work perfectly. When switching throttle cut it kills both on the throttle stick but not when the rudder is applied to one side but not the other, perhaps there's another mix but the above takes 4 mixes as it is.
-
I've watched a few youtube items and want to set up throttle cut on a twin with differential thrust on a Spektrum NX8.
Despite following to the letter and pausing to confirm still only one throttle cut. Both were 100% going to work only they dont.
Also saw a Horizon Hobby video with James setting up TD on something. A viewer asked about TC but no reply despite a promise to get back!
Heeeeeelp
Thanks

All great ideas, I'll probably go for the multiplex or the Emcotec MPX 6 pin. I also have the Eflite Fw190 wing to fuss connector block, commercial version of eflightray's suggestion - EFL01373 but that adds even more cable.
The model is intended to stay in one piece once built but its a pain. There is a smallish hole where all cables are fed during the build, - its an older gen FMS foamie Zero 1400mm.

Some great items and advice, Many thanks.

Just picked up one of these strange beasts, Robbe Concorde needed a friend.
Anyone still have/fly one?
Its in unmolested condition, no accidents and is still on brushed motors.
Ive rebuilt the Robbe Concorde with Overlander BM400 inrunner brushless with counter 6x4's but they're a little weighty and the noise is a bit buzzy.
Looking for advice on some outrunners and perhaps larger props for the Sonic.
Also has anyone just gone with elevons and fixed the canards or are they needed as elevators.
Advice welcome
-
Thanks the 6 pin item looks perfect
-
Probably been covered many times.
I want to tidy up some servo connections to make wing removal at the field easier.
Can I solder all the +ve together and all -ve together and keep the signal wires separate. I've seen the Ashlock items and a similar item at 4Max but by combining them it appears that the bundle could be reduced further
-
In some countries they blitz it into beads and pour it into cavity walls on new builds. I know someone who does this then sells it in huge plastic bags.

Just picked up one of Ron's excellent XL stands, nice height, you could tweak it if taller or shorter. I opted for the taller work bench end version but also got the original end panels. Stand from amazon was £7 plus P+P.
I looked at the slec offering but £60 plus p+p for a unfinished wood jobby that looks as though it came from the early 1900's wasnt going to cut the mustard. (was £79 when I last looked a few weeks ago, so selling well!)

Thanks, I'll look out for ground high speed steel items.

Thanks for the replies,
Use is general RC tinkering.
I have some wera torx keys, the small-1.5 or 2.0mm died and they replaced it foc, I have snap-on tools and dewalt in my real life, but some decent tinkering items have eluded me thus far.
-
Can anyone recommend some torx and screwdrivers that arent made from putty. Had a few sets and they generally fail the retract grub screw test and end up as another hole making tool
-
Bit late to the party but I use a Stanley fatmax double storage box avec handle and wheels.
Bottom part with wheels has a deep discharge boat, caravan battery with Anderson and Jack plug connectors for charging and a voltage meter plus usb for the phone. (one of my patches is great for flying but zero facilities) a 12v field charger. Top section has a 5l aftermarket fuel tank (eBay item number:385406299771) and a power panel with pump. plus 12v starter/glow battery. Add in as you need yellow trays for the usual bits-n-bobs
Great for a day of combined IC and electric shenanigans.
I have thought about adding a stand to the top as the battery is great low down ballast.

I thought he was my uncle Charles, I have shares in a diamond mine that I wasn't aware of and the ££££££££££ in stones are waiting for me to just send £10000 for the administration costs before they can be delivered by Royal Mail.

100% a scam, avoid at all cost. Got ripped off in a similar scam for some Triang train parts.
-
Thank you Jason im guessing you took my harmless powerless item that required a huge power source that it wasnt possible to get on a plane

Sorry finally found it via HH link from model description its on DX2 only and not NX as directed
