  1. Mark, I can help. Sent you a message. Steve.
  2. Also http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/ Good fast service !!
  3. Alex, Try the Dandy Sport from Mountain Models at the above link. Great Fun !! Steve.
  4. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another Hurricane. So many exiciting subjects, so many narrow minds. Maybe next time ? Steve.
  5. Ben, Before you jump in with the Galazy kit take a look at http://stevensaero.com/ or http://www.mountainmodels.com/  both these companies supply superb laser cut kits. If you fancy something more scale like try http://www.parkscalemodels.com/shop/ . I know these are all American kits, but the quality is exceptional. What i can say is that they all build into super flying models and if you would like to purchase from within the UK contact John Rutter @ http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/ who will happily source you any of the above kits. Good luck in your personal build. Steve. PS Try http://www.philipnoel.co.uk/index.htm for really good UK kits
  6. David, It looks like we'll have to remain divided on this point . Steve.
  7. David, So your saying we do have a "them and us" situation - but only for two to three months. How petty is that !! . As for providing incentive to suscribe it certainly does the opposite for me. Sorry David but i'm a great believer in a classless society and particularly in the aeromodelling field. I totally agree on all your other points about the magazine. Steve. PS. As for the shopping unfortunately i'm the one who gets lumbered with it in our household (call me a new man and all that !!)
  8. Bob, Exactly !!. Surely you buy a subscription for the magazine content and the freebies are a by product. IMHO RCM&E is the best UK rc mag on the market. Just don't need the politcs on the website. Steve.
  9. Editorial staff, When are we going to loose the silly suscriber only cotent on this web site. Its pathetic and childish. For the few items that are (MF) its a waste of time. Are we trying to produce a "them and us" class system here. Steve.
  10. Yes you guys are correct all military types that have been done before !!! It's a shame when we had so many unusual subjects to choose from that we always end up with a military type I suppose its all a number game.  Steve.
  11. Hi Robert, I've been watching this build on your Swedish forum for a while now. The finished model looks fantastic Maybe you could actually submit a plan for publication and see how it goes with the editorial staff. There are certainly some different techniques used to produce the wing etc that might appeal to their readership. I particularly like the model building section of the Swedish forum. Even if i just look a the pictures as i don't know a word of Swedish. It has a firm position in my favourites list. The Kobra seems to be another extremely popular model for this type of build. Steve.
  12. All three electric :- 1. Rutan Quickie 2.Travel Air Mystery Ship 3.Dewoitine D510 Steve.
  13. Robert, Take a look at this link :- http://www.airfieldmodels.com/information_source/how_to_articles_for_model_builders/tools/magnetic_building_board/index.htm Steve.
  14. Maybe you should check out this thread on RC Groups. It looks like people on the other side of the pond seem to be having the same problem as you guys. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=575563 Best of Luck !!! Steve.
  15. Daniel, Did you receive my e-mail ? Steve.
  16. Nigel, I have one of these stands that i built from plans. Post your e-mail address and i may be able to help you. Steve.
  17. Hi Gareth, The Mini Jazz plans are available at the plans link on the right hand side of this screen. They are in aerobatic models in the aircraft section. (plan no.MAG227).No mention of a cowl or canopy though. Cheers, Steve.
  18. Nigel thanks for that info. Its just nice to have a figure to kick off with and then do a little tweaking to suit one's personal flying taste. By the way another innovative plan, look forward to the twin. Steve.
  19. I am in the process of building the EZE-FAN, but have one small question. Reading both the build article and studying the plan i cannot find any information regarding the amount of movement for the control surfaces ?. Maybe someone could post the throws here. Thanks Steve.
