  9. Hi all iam looking at buying a Futaba 6ch  computer radio set,   as a slave set for training only. The set i have chance of is a good price . However it is a 72mhz set, i'am fully aware that this set cannot be used for flying in this country but it would only ever be used as a slave radio conected with a buddy lead to my futaba 35mhz  6exap. So the question is can you connect the two in this manner?  When you think about it you dont have a crystal in the slave radio, antenna is down and its powered by the master radio my 35mhz set.
  10. Dont use cyno. Check first on some scrap  you could melt your model. You can buy foam freindly cyno from good model supliers.

  13. Come now lets  keep it simple . A nice chilly wind plan would be nice please.
  14. The word is twister bell 47 they are fantastic. I have just bought one, my progress is unbeleavable in just a few days. The upside is that when and if you have a prang, you can buy any single part that you break. Blades are very cheap on ebay. By the way if you are a new heli pilot like me, keep it simple, learn to crawl first then walk. DONT RUN forget 3D for the time being.
  15. Hi Graham ref the cub, as i opened my hanger nine box with the usual anticipation a new kit brings. I was very impressed with what i saw, a very well pesented and packed kit. Apart from the cowel, upon closer inspection i found lots of star cracking in the gelcoat finish and one crack that was a little more worrying. I contacted helger distribution and was rewarded with a dont give a toss attitude from the guy on the line. After a while he said he could have a look at it for me if i wanted , then promtly offered to sell me a replacement. Anyway grumble done with. I had no problems with the rest of the kit once i had done the ironing. My screen fit perfect by the way. So realy to sum up iam very pleased with the finished plane and eagerly awaiting some fine weather for a test flight. (Cowel sorted with addition of some carbon strands inside then refinished outside) CHECK COWEL BEFORE YOU TAKE ONE HOME IF OK THEN ENJOY IT BECAUSE ITS A FINE PLANE.
  16. Try ebay there are loads of four strokes on there.
  17. Hi Graham just a quick note to say i bought a hanger 9 cub a short while ago and ive finished it apart from one little job to do. The saito 82a motor is a perfect fit, cowel was very thin and covering was great once ironed back on. Anyway one job to do, iam off to move my pilot.
  18. Bob thankyou for the advice, i will enquire about this part number thanks again Pat.
  19. You can buy foam tube from your model shop for this purpose, however it can be pricey.Use foam or a car wash sponge cut to size and lacky bands.
