  1. Not a great pic, but shows I've ran out of room! I only have half a converted garage to play with, but some constructive shelfing will help! Ian F.
  2. Sorted. Just ordered an AcroWot Mk2 ARTF from Kings Lynn Model Shop. They have them for £119 at the moment, which is a great price. My brother is learning to fly with an Arising Star, and I've wrung it out.... It will bunt, but not without fighting you! Many thanks for all the input guys. Ian F.
  3. Mmm. I had an ARC Cessna 177 a few years ago. Heavy bugger, but flew brilliantly... And being plastic was dead easy to keep clean. Ian F.
  4. I'm getting ready to take the 'B' test, but don't really have anyting suitable. I seem to have fast small electrics, Foamies, Helicopters Or 50cc Bipes! I need something that would breeze through the B schedule, and make a good winter hack too. Suggestions? Ian F.
  5. Yeah, I'm a serious mountain biker. Started off many years ago on an old Raleigh hardtail. But have moved on through various Cannondales and Specialized machines, but have ended up with a rather old (2005) BMW Enduro. It suits me somehow, and keeps up with all my mates on their new machines We live in the countryside near Sherwood Forest, so have 1000s of miles of game trails and paths. Nothing hardcore, just basic 20+ mile MX stuff. Ian F.
  6. Can't add pics for some reason.  AOL again. No room to move in mine now. Need to convert the conservatory next..... Then try and find a new wife when I get thrown out Edited By Cyberfyn on 06/09/2012 15:31:22 Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 06/09/2012 15:58:47
  7. Well, after a couple of dozen flights now, I can say this is the best flying plane I've owned. Rock solid, and super smooth.Even makes my flying look good Just the plane to perfect my four point and slow rolls with. PPlllllleeeeeese let the good weather continue until the weekend when we have our electric fly-in (Rolls Royce MAC Hucknall) Ian F Edited By Cyberfyn on 23/07/2012 11:33:09

  9. Lol. I'll go and dig out my Action man, and get the missus to make him a wingsuit. Then all we need is a few hundred feet and a release mechanism........
  10. Not RC, but some of the most stunning aerial shots I've yet to see. And will make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Awesome **LINK** Ian F. **LINK**
  11. What scale is the Brian Taylor spit? It looks about the same as the YT version. That 5 Blade system does look great though..... Mind's made up now. Ian.
  12. Will do. It's got me thinking though.... I've got a YT Spitfire kit i've not started yet. Was going to fit a spare RCV120SP motor in, but considering going electric now. And being a MKXIX Griffon it would look the dogs with a bigass 5 blade prop on.... and I'm getting bored with cleaning gunk off planes Ian.
  13. Christian Ramosa is very helpfull. He got back to me with all the info needed to sort the 5-Blade varioprop system. I've listed his details below for anyone else looking to do the same mod: thank you for contacting and interest in our varioPROP Propellersystem. For a PC21 like the kid from Sebart I would suggest the following parts: _________________________________________________________________________ Quant partNo: Size Description max.RPM Hole Shaft EURO 1 / min Diameter Total _________________________________________________________________________ 5 0330-12 12C Propeller blade D 7.100 13.0" 38.60cm 15.00 1 0058012 12C 5-Blade Propeller hub - 8.0 mm 34.00 1 S565-12 12C 5-Blade Alu Light-Spinner - D=65mm 48.00 1 001206 12C Collet Chuck for steel shaft 6.0 mm 5.80 _________________________________________________________________________ - A goog engine would be a HACKER A50 16S on 6S-LiPos. For more information, prices and pictures please go to wwww.ramoser.de and than to "varioPROP" there you would find the "Propeller Size 12C" Drawings of hubs you will find behind the button "Information + Prices" In our shop you can also order this parts. If there left any question, please do contact again. Kind regards Christian Ramoser
  14. Yeah, I've looked at his site, but it's a bit confusing about which bits I need. They are all listed in different sections..... In German. I've sent him a message to see if he can help me with parts and correct prop selection though. Ian.
  15. Does anyone know the UK distributor for the Ramosa Varioprops? I know they are doing a special 5 blade version with the correct long spinner for the new Sebart PC-21 50E model (have one on the way to me) And I'd love to get the scale prop for it. With the variable hub, You can adjust the pitch to fine tune amp draw depending on your setup...... And it just sounds cool too! Edited By David Ashby - RCME on 25/06/2012 16:11:53
  16. Lol. Planes are not too dangerous. Now mountainbiking......   Edited By Cyberfyn on 15/03/2011 15:58:50
  17. I got a letter in the post this morning from Jamara Germany saying I'd won one of their new Jump 2.4 GHz HF-Module sets in the competition (mentioned in last months mag) I entered on the off chance too as I already have the Spektrum module. Be good to try it out  though    On the down side.... They are out of stock on the JR units, but will send it on asap.   Anyone else won one? I think they were giving quite a few away.   Ian F.
  18. Lol. I HAD to have it!   I've defo going twin brushless and 4s. I want this one to be bonkers quick! I'll leep the post updated as I go along.   Ian.
  19. Nah not mine Dave. Just found it while researching my setup options.  If I were spending £1500 on a turbine I'd make sure I had a suitable airframe. Looks smaller than the Wren coke can engine though.   Ian F.
  20. Yeah, maybe a bit rough round the edges. But this one is real
