well. I decided to take a day off from trials and tribulations of technology and wet a few maggots,. Just reset up the tx/rx and as you can see in the video. all working. Now it could be put down to several things I dont know, but ill go with the fact it now works. I never updated the rx or tx. This was what I think was my problem. X8R-EU version only works with FrSky Taranis X9D Plus-EU version/XJT-EU version in D16-EU mode. Not 100% sure but maybe a little bite of ID10T error. lol so now onto the next. but I'll try to figure that one out in a day or so. thanks again for all the help very much appreciated, especially Ron Gray, for the offer you made... and so the complication goes on. sorry guy's I know you are all offering a great deal of help. I thought this would be a good rout to take in my rc hobby of many years. I thought wrong. Maybe it's a simple case of, you can't teach old dog's new tricks.... My rx was supposedly up dated to V2. but now it's said I need to down load another software to update protocol on it. does it ever stop with frsky equipment. Mike. No movement what so ever on the servos. and I know they are all good as I have tested them on my spectrum system

yest the rx led turns green and when the tx is turned off it flashes red. the channel monitor reacts with the control sticks..

i find the menu to do this, but really with no written instruction i have no idea. i know that maybe sound silly but trust me, I'm a on paper instruction guy.

My rx that i have tried to control servos with is a X8R ACCST eulbt. my tx is also set to ACCST. also EU LBT I'm about to trow it in the bin. I wanted to get into telemetry instead of using my old Eagletree system, plug and play ..... But this is proving to be too too much.... even opentx, is mind boggling for this old fart...

I live just south of Worcester. towards Upton upon Severn... Would be grateful of any help.

Caveman. Ok, hooked up a RX, got the green steady light, 3 servos connected, Ch1 ch2 ch4 CH 3 being the esc. not a single movement on any. so looks like something with the radio. who knows lol....

Caveman. the FC is D8 protocol. I do have the external module fitted to my tx and set to D8 on the tx.

Andy, I dont think you are being rude. My problem is , After binding with those pins joined the light does go solide. remove the join and nothing is as it say's in the manual. Maybe I need to right down what and how i'm doing as sometimes my 67 years brain doesn't want to function properly either.'maybe some pictures would help better. I'll do that as I wasn't bold a few weeks ago lol....
