My dad built an electric tracer back in the '80s. I have two mint kits. One of them is a light weight one off made especially for my dad by Sid king himself. -

So... The house went on the market this week and I have a lot of stuff to find homes for, airframes, engines, kits and much more. I was thinking virtual garage sale. If you want a bit of modeling history email me. Peacock dot kevin1 at g mail dot com. I'm sure you can work that out π

We have here the Benchmarks Midget Mustang from the Aviation Modeller International in August of '96, hasn't been flown since the review . Comes with the Webra speed 61 up front. Any sensible offers considered. I'll even throw in the magazine βΊοΈ

Large Tigermoth, it's a doer-uper. Fuselage is in good condition but the Wings need a bit of love and new struts. Here comes the good bit, it's got a Laser 90 in the front. I'm open to sensible offers.

Also, dad didn't get into electric flight because he was forward thinking. He did it to get back at the local council, who banned the flying of model aircraft in our parks. They defined model aircraft as having a wingspan over a metre and burning combustible fuel. So he built a Cotswolds kits tracer put a rare earth magnet motor and 10 cells in it. It was evil.

I think it was a piper Cherokee at sywell for Bob symes model magic. Don't think I'll build it, it's probably the only one left.

Hi, my dad was Ian Peacock and I have the purple haze and electric haze in the shed, might even be able to find a plan. There was also a biplane, the lemon twist, a glider, the azure lady and a pylon racer, the miss tangerine. I have a mint kit of the miss tangerine, must be over 40 years old.

Hi everyone, i'm new here and just wanted to let everyone know that my dad, Ian Peacock, passed away at the end of January. I know a lot of you built from his kits and plans, but does anyone have a peacock models kit?
