  1. Let's hope Ripmax do something to address this issue
  2. This is all that stands between you and a disaster. Top of the range servos mean nothing when the horns are fixed like this. Edited By J3hne on 06/04/2018 07:45:22 Edited By J3hne on 06/04/2018 07:46:05

  4. Purchased xcalibur 2nd hand. All ok except after hard landing elevator horn pulled out. Frightening to think that airworthiness of jet relies on 2 very small screws. Suggest a visit to the elevator horn before the unthinkable happens. Pic attached and also my upgrade.

  6. Well after all the negatives about the heavier (artillery shell) vampire it continues to fly. Not the same can be said about the lighter one which seems to have retired. No point in building a light model if it doesn't fly.
  7. Hi Stephen, A friend of mine has just finished your build. We test flew it with disasterious results. Under power it rolled to the left on take off and went in. Second go we used very little power and it rolled again when power was put on. In again. All controls checked and ok. Back In workshop for repair and with plenty of head Scratching. HELP PLEASE. Thanks John
  8. Mate No 2 is just like someone I know. Think he's going to need a bigger hat.
  9. Can't see the problem. When you buy your next 'toy' buy her something for her hobbies. A new ironing board or vacuum should fit the bill. I understand hospital food is not that bad!! Happy visiting. Edited By J3hne on 25/08/2015 19:31:56
  10. 4 flights since moving c of g forward 1/2 inch. Different plane now, behaves itself. Better take offs and nice slow landings. Broke nose wheel bearers on last landing. Bit late flaring and landed on nose wheel first. Oops. Happy flying.
  11. Hi all. Flown 7 times now. Wants to take off too early so has to be held with down elevator. Much too fast on landing as well. Spoke to Tony Nijhuis at Cosford last week. My problems see to come down to the c of g being too far back. I've now added 1lb of nose weight to move c of g forward by 1/2". Yet to fly but confident that this will make it fly like it should. So beware of c of g position. If anything make it forward of plan position. Cheers happy flying.
  12. Can't post video. I'll put it on YouTube . Edited By J3hne on 29/06/2015 16:19:43
