Why not use an old computer power supply for your 12 volt field chargers in the workshop. They work very well with good power outputs, and cheap at boot sales and e-bay etc.

Would anybody out there have any details for the balance point and control surface throws for a YT Mach Racer. I have just bought one second hand and would like to double check these before I commit to the skies, thanks

What about a VMAR extreme stik high wing, with that wire undercarriage it shrugs off hard landings on rough grass landing strips and is not bothered by gusty wind conditions. Cheap too !

I have noticed the flashing receiver light occasionally and wondered what it meant ? I shall have to check this before I take to the air, thanks

I much preferred the travel air, the twister seemed to be rather short in the fuselage making it very twitchy in pitch. Travel air is much more stable.

Surely you are all missing the point with 2.4ghz systems! that is the tx and model are digitally locked together once they are switched on correctly, and this link should not be affected however busy the frequency is. This is the same technology used in bluetooth technology ie mobile phones and headsets. I have never had my conversation interupted by anyone else in a nearby car, have you ?

Throw the horrible things away and fit plastic ones that are a decent size. I had the same ones on my extreme stik.

 I have a question for  the issue feedback, What happened to the" panic "review mentioned in last months magazine ? There is no mention of it at all, I was looking forward to it with a view to perhaps purchasing one; and no mention in next months issue either! Excellent magazine but reviews do not always appear.

A colleague uses them at my club with great results.They are 3.3 volts I believe and can be soldered together to form packs.
