  1. Hi all   I'm having the same type of problem with my os 46 LA. The engine runs fine for about a min of two then it just stops.   I have changed all the fuel lines, checked the back plate is secure but it still stops.   Help please!   Dave.
  2. Think i've worked it out, i do not have the extra leads to use with my type of battery, guess i should of asked if they came with it, silly me. Thanks for the help though.
  3. ok another dumb qus, i'm to plug the 4 cell NiMH into the front of the charger where the balancer connector would go. Theres a  ground pin and 6 other pins, the battery has a red and black wire i guess just like a car the black is the ground wire? sorry i know it sound a bit darft.
  4. Hi   Feel a bit silly asking this but......I went out and got myself a proper charger as that was the best advice, i have a Ultramat 16. The thing is it shows you how to connect Lipos with the balancers supplied but how  do you connect the NiMHs do i use the balancers supplied ? Sorry i'm just confused!
  5. Reading through all the helpful advice, what i'm really going to need is a good charger, something that will do both NIMH and LIPOs.   So sorry to ask again does anybody have any ideas please.
  6. Hi Guys   Thank you all for all your advice, Martin yes your right i read the label wrong it is 1.2 hrs. I will also check out that other site and read the advice. Also i will drive over to my model shop on sat and buy a proper charger as my plane has it's first flight Sun if the weather is fine.   Again thank you all.   Dave
  7. Hi Guys   Can some body help me please, i have two sets of Tornado fast charge batterys 2000. It says fast charge 2A for 2hrs. As this will be there first charge and i am only using a normal plug in the wall Futaba charger is this going to be enough or should i charge them for longer?   Dave
  8. I used to have a mk2 Cortina 1967 pre crossflow back in the 80s of those were the days.   My next bit of kit will be a charger possible a ultramat 16. Also toying with idea of repainting my flight box in jan.
  9. Rustington, hmm i'm in Mile Oak, north Portslade.   Not joined a club yet to fly with but i have visited one near my partners place in East grinstead where i am most weekends.   going to run my engine a little more on the bench and set it up before i let it leave the ground.   I was told i could take it to the field in EG an they would test fly it for me, which i thought was nice of them as i'm not a menber.
  10. Thats a good price for all that lot.   I have a tutor 40 myself with a OS 46LA engine, had it running this morning, clamped the plane to my work mate.   It might be a good idea if you buy a flight box to put all you stuff in most people i've seen at modle shows use them they quite cheep to buy.   Have fun   Dave
