  1. Hi David This download of digital subscription is a joke. Have subscribed for a number of years and commented at an early stage re being able to download - post is early in this thread. When the download version came along I was told it was for IPad via apple accoiunt. As I had both followed the instructions and have been getting it on the IPad. My problem is I wish to have it on my PC. Have followed all instructions from Pocketmag but it will not come up as my being subscribed. They also do not answer my emails. I have just received an email to renew my sub but can not see the use if this problem and the request from subscribers means nothing. Quite simply as a purchaser of RCM&E from its inception, in printed form and over the past 3 years in digital I feel very let down. I went digital as I am in New Zealand and issues run 3 to 4 months late out here. Trusting you will assist Des Richards
  2. Hi David and all I have an ongoing issue. Like many others I am located on the othe side of the world, New Zealand, and went to the digital issues so they were timely. If I wanted a plan then I order it online - no problems there. However I can not get the digital issues to download to my PC. They will go to my ipad but that is not where I want or need them. Some help on these problems would be appreciated. Des from the land of the Kiwi
  3. I am in favour of the digital sub, but believe that it has not been fully evaluated. I imagine many readers are like myself, not from the UK in my case NZ and, have a standing order with our local book seller. The disadvantages are - Not all copies arrive, the Special issues only once. Delivery is way behind, I have just received the November issue. Many special offers are not available to non UK subscribers.   The inability to save for future reference sends a very negative signal - ' We want your income - but really do not want to do anything in return.'   The solution is very easy and already in use by other publishers. Each issue is sent in PDF format to the subscriber or available for download as a PDF from the website. These add no cost and a few minutes work each issue. All customers are already on the data base and have passwords so option 2 would be the quickest and cheapest. For the free plan, have it as a downloadable PDF with a buy now button for a small fee, say 5 quid. I guarantee this would produce more happy customers and more plan sales. Please consider. @import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);

  11. How about a win for Kiwi land this time - would be brilliant with the right electric setup
  12. A lovely model for which I have the perfect motor going spare, plus, its time something came to the land of the long white cloud
  13. Hi all, My votes go as follows :- to the beau for No 1,  60inch plus span for electrics or ic, with retracts and flaps No 2 is the Whirlwind, same specs as above No 3 is the Hurricane, again with similar specs to above.  Real pity to see the Leopard Moth  didn't make it
  14. Hi Dave My 3 would all be for electrics, spanning between 55 to 80 inches. 1   Airtrainer 2   Lysander 3  P-38
  15. I attach the tach to the top of the fuse with a rubberband or a velcro strap - hold the model in a home made clamp on legs, about 3 feet high which has a shelf to hold the E-Meter, clamp meter battery pack and Tx, this leaves me with both hands free to operate the throttle and jot down readings. Hope this helps.
  16. I have been using one for the last 6 months and find it ok - also have a Graupner clamp meter and the readings are very close.  They are still avaliable in NZ.
