  1. I recently bought the Mobius camera from Webbex mini DV Cameras. Here is a video of the camera fitted to my Easy Glider. Video is a bit long as I haven't edited it yet. I have used the key fob #16 before but the mobius is a much better camera. Webbex also do a wide angled version. Hope this helps.
  2. Has anyone used one of these. Are they accurate?
  3. Hi. Thanks for all the replies. The green in the cockpit makes sense but I believe most other parts of older aircraft are also green. e.g. inside of under carriage doors /bays.
  4. Sorry if this is a silly question. But why are most aircraft interiors painted green?
  5. Thanks Rob. I have been using a Flycam ECO for a while but this key chain camera is so much better. Of course you cant switch it on and off or change to single shot or multi shot mode via the transmitter but at the end of the day I would rather have a good quality video rather than several ways of getting poor quality video / images. I just hope they keep developing these things maybe 1080p next. Hope your thumb is getting better and enjoy your paragliding. By the way what editing software do you use?
  6. Hi Bob. On the strength of your review I ordered the camera. It turned up after exactly two weeks this saturday. It works really well much better than my Flycam. I put it on my Easy Glider Electric this weekend. have a look at the video. I had to convert it to wmv so I could edit it and I think it may have lost a bit of quality in the process. But still good. 8. Frank.  I saw so many awful brushless conversions on another forum and one guy had done it using a piece of pipe but the nose was all held together with tape. That gave me the idea and I thought there must be a neater way to do this. It really has made the glider so much more fun.
  9. I recently bought my second easy glider (my first lives in the Czech Republic) from SMC as they had it for such a good price and I wanted one to fly here in the UK. I found the basic easyglider very under powered so i did a brushless upgrade as follows. I created a motor mount using 1" 1/2 plastic waste pipe and turned up a bulkhead using ply. This was then epoxied to the pipe. I then opened out the nose using 400 - 800 wet and dry paper glued to an approx 20mm tube to give me a sort of round file. The nose in now nearly opened up enough to take the motor mount.   The mount is being dry fitted here. Although the nose getts a bit flimsy as you take out the material, when the mount is fitted and glued it really is very strong.    The motor now installed and the mount glued in place using Multiplex Zlaki glue.   The spinner fitted.   The parts used were all from BRC as listed here.   BRC A2217-9T 950Kv (220W) Brushless Outrunner Motor. brc512 Item Number 512   Folding Prop Spinner Assembly - Multiplex 39mm Hub/Adaptor for 4mm Motor Shaft (Blizzard) (733501). brc371 Item Number 371   Folding Prop Blades - 10 x 6 (8mm root). brc967 Item Number 967   This set up has really improved the performance of the glider.   Hope this helps.
  10. Thanks for all the advice chaps.
  11. Hi. Sorry if this is a daft question. Is it ok to shorten servo leads and ESC leads (The lead that plugs into the receiver not the battery or motor leads). I have just been building my second easy glider and its really to keep things tidy. Thanks Jeremy
  12. Dave. Sorry to hear this. Hope you get it back together soon.
  13.   Bit of video using the flycam eco
