  1. Hello all, I have made a boo boo. I turned on my transmitter and left the throttle up. Having plugged in the esc (dangerous I know) it went in to programming mode. My brother helpfully pulled down the throttle and hence adjusted something on the ESC.  The problem is we don't know what was changed and I am worried that it was the cut-off voltage or cell count. Does anyone know how to reset the ESC to default? Or where I can find a manual from? (Searched the web all over!)  Thanks in advance, Jamie
  2. I too am frustrated with BRC Hobbies. They take your money for items not in stock and then it is in the lap of the gods when you get it! My fastest was next day but my longest was nearly two months. In essence I don't mind long delivery times but they never email you to say how long it will be! I have just tried canceling my order but no-one answers and there is no email address. Great products but poor service. Also no search function on website.
  3. Hiya, I have had 2 Castle Creation HV110 speed controllers and both have broken. The first just stopped working, the latter caught fire. They both stopped working pulling no-where near full current. The second one was running on 12 cells at 30 Amps. Anyone else had problems. Could it be my set-up. Dual Sky 12 Cell compatible outrunner, 12 cell Lipo and 12 Cell speed controller. Any suggestions? Cheers
  4. I'm going to stick with the multi engine designs. Boeing 747 (EDF) Boeing 777 (EDF) Dehavilland Comet (without the tendency to break apart midair!)
  5. Snap on the brushless! I am using them with 25A speed controllers. Going to plug it up to an ammeter but think it will pull about 22Amps of LIPO's! Mine is coming in at 2500g before sanding sealer, tissue, dope and paint. I didn't want it to be underpowered. Do you have plenty of power in reserve?
  6. Malcolm, http://www.jperkinsdistribution.co.uk/detail.php?JPNO=4460325&activepage=1&Navmain=Electric%20flight%20items&subcatname=Propellers I have 4 of each on order. What brushless set up do you have? Does it fly well? Any hints or tips? Jamie
  7. Hi Tony/all, JP are now doing 8x4 3 Bladed lightweight props. This will give my Lanc 820Watts! They are also doing reverse rotation props. I have not built in any offset on my nacelles. Do I need too? Is there any benefit to running inboards and outboards in different directions? All shall I just have them running the usual way! Cheers Jamie
