  1. Thanks for all your comments. They seem positive...so now its let the wife know what I want for Christmas. Thanks again........Les
  2. Folks, I am considering building the Jodel kit from DB sport and scale. Has anyone had any experience of these kits. Feedback please.
  3. hello, Yes, I have tried this store but they were to ingorant to reply. Thanks for the link anyway. I have searched the Aussie sites as well with no luck. Really what I need is a link into Sportsman Aviation or its parent company, but trying to find that is like looking for rocking horse poo.
  4. Folks, Two questions, Does anyone know of a store that stocks the Corby Starlet made by Sportsman Aviation? I have tried all the mainline stores and loads of the independants with no luck. The one I am after is 61" wingspan for a .70 F/S which had a review on it two years ago in RCM&E ! Secondly. Have you had any experience of DB Sportand Scale Kits, particularily the Jodel.  Many thanks.
  5. I have been using an Irvine panel since they first came out with no problems. It has the benefit of not only being able to charge a glow stick but also enables you to give a timed charge to the receiver and transmitter batteries which is ideal if you spend all day out flying. Its also got a LED which is normally green but changes to red if the starter battery voltage starts to drop off, it also has a  built in digital readout of battery state and charging current .
  6. Thanks for the information but this is just too large. The US giant scale ones are 85.5" and this is not that far short.
  7. Does anyone know where I can buy the 61" model of Sportsman Aviations CORBY STARTLET in the UK suitable for up to .70 four stroke? I have searched all the online shops...........but no good! America seems to only have the giant scale one so thats no good either. Any help appreciated
