 50 years on ....Have Built the Skyscooter from Phils Plan (had built the kit in 1956 for bang bang radio) and she flies well but extremely slowly on 480 brushed. John

We were bombed out in London and my father was directed to work for Bristol Aircraft on Beaufighters (he was invalided out of the Royal Engineers - saved his life he always said) so naturally (being also a quantity surveyor ) the Ministry for War Labour found him the wrong square hole...We were bombed out again in Bristol...He rose to be Assistant to the Cheif Test engineer on the statistical side of testing to destruction. My Personal selection would be headed by the Bristol Beaufighter - we were evacuated to Bath after being bombed out in Romford - my father was directed to Bristol Aircraft and built Beaufighters. The Catalina is so pretty and the Fiesler Storch so useful and ugly. John

My first contol liner kit was a Tiggie (1948)  and it also flew as freeflight (deliberately) and was reported as a write off some miles away in Kensington. I didnt go and claim it  Yes I reckon I could cope with this one, John

One can always fly electric on common land unless the commoners (the legal users( object - this may be by way of bye laws or something more brutal, They would certainly object to IC and be careful when horse riders are about.  I have had two Electric Gliders eaten by cows they are extremely inquisitive and will form a circle to investigate a model.
