The big question is, does it or has it been of help to a beginner, or any one else for that matter. I'll be over the moon if it does.

Hi David I think Im flattered "Commercial set-up" You have seen my video's right! Im just a modeller having some fun with YouTube. You can blame Dave Powers (Mr RC Power) for making me realise you can do a lot more with a YouTube Channel, than just post clips of anonymous models flying around and around. I will put some think together over the next couple of week for your delectation. Its harder than you think (or I thought) to try and explain how to set up a model to a beginner, with out using the jargon or shorthand we use every day up the field. Still it a good exercises for the grey matter Roy Edited By Roy Thompson on 17/03/2009 16:56:34 Edited By Roy Thompson on 17/03/2009 16:57:01

Starting with some basic about safety tips for beginners with electric models. nowt to deep just simple things like retaining a models, keeping clutter away from props & so on. Then on to this is a typical outrunner, inrunner, esc, This bit plug in here that in there..... Keep up the good work Roy

Hi Timbo Sound like its right up my street, so let me introduce myself as Roys RC TV ! Just quickly Ive been putting together indoor flying video reviews on Y##T### of late, but was intending to do a "How To" myself & would love to put it here. Ive been using the Eagle Tree eLogger data logger for the last couple of years with my contra motors. So I was intending to do one on the eLogger, using an old AcroMaster. Not much help for newbie's to the hobby I know, but I thought Id offer my services. Would be open to suggestions on other topics? Links to my hand work so far. http://www.youtube.com/user/RTatBstoke http://roys-rc-tv.webs.com/ Roy Thompson

Nice words George, sums the day up very nicely. It was the best days flying I've had this year, with Colerne a close second.

If you are considering this motor take a look at AEO Technology CR28M forum http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=776634 I have been testing one of these motors for some time. The standard motor with the supplied wooden props, is a nice looking, OK little motor, that matches up to it's spec in terms of power & thrust. My two main concerns with it are, it's a little fragile for general sports use, and the mounting and fitting of the rear prop is a bit of a pane if you want to try different props. That said if you are happy with the supplied items, then spare props come ready to fit from AEO AEO Technology CR28M Flying Test Bed fitted with CR28M
