What motor did you use andrew? I have a tornado C3536 400 watt sat here doing nothing which should do nicely. If thats not enough i have a tornado C3548 700 watt aswell. Dave

Ive finally finished my werewolf and its looking great in red,white and blue remo race style,it looks like a different plane to military style colours. As ive lost the mag and i cant seem to see it on the plan,what are you recommended control throws for high and low rates and any expo,ive set them to a guestimate and it seems ok,just wondered what you think. It flys great,quite the little aerobat,but not a 3Der,which is just how i like them.(3D IS NOT flying) The only suitable engine i had was a thunder tiger gp42 and it an absolute rocket with this in it. I think im gonna put an electric motor in it,never gone electric before. How heavy has yours and other peoples werewolf turned out at,ready to fly but no fuel? Cheers for a top design. Dave

I went to start the wings tonight and i cant find the mag with the build article in it. Peter, please could you give me a very quick guide through. Im right in thinking i pin the bottom sheeting down first? Thanks in advance. Dave

Firstly,thanks to you quick response,didnt expect it if im honest. Im gonna go ahead with the laser cut ribs,there isnt anything that far out that cant be sorted. Ill post some pics when its done,the fus and tail feathers are done just the wings and covering to do. Im gonna go reno race style colours,a base of white with red and blue bits too. A mate of mine has mastered his seagull boomerang trainer,would the werewolf be ok as a first low winger as he fancies building one. Dave

A question for peter miller. I bought the rib set and canopy,the canopy is fine. The problem is the ribs,while they are roughly the right shape when compared to the plan alot of them are too small in height,too short in length and the 1/4 x 1/4 cutouts for the spars are big and will be a sloppy fit.I bought the rib set with accuracy in mind. I rang the place up that supplies them and they said they have had no other complaints of the 60 or so sets they had sold. Did you build a model with the laser cut ribs or did you cut your own from the plan? I cant decide weather to use them and adapt them to fit ok or to make some new ones myself from the plan. if i adapt them to fit the wing section will be different to that intended,not by a million miles but by enough to through up concern.

I built a pinto a few months back. All the parts were an exellent fit,if a little tight in places,better too tight than loose! I modified the front of mine and fit an SC12 and also modified the fin to include a rudder. I was told by many that it would be way over powered and would rip to bits in no time,would be heavy and hard to balance. Allthough i had to add a small amount of weight to the tail to balance it i can confirm the plane really flies beutifully and will do all aerobatic moves with ease,it flies like a much larger plane and isnt twitchy at all like a lot of smaller planes. I mounted a 1/4 ply firewall farther back in the nose behind one of the existing formers with a normal plastic engine mount and a 2oz tank behind the firewall,the hatch was modified to fit nicely round the motor and i used a 6 gram servo for the throtle. It is so easy too hand launch,a gentle level through at half throttle is enough. belly landind is easy too,cut the throttle and it glides like a good un. I didnt find anything hard about building the model,someone above said the top rear rolled turtle deck was not good enough,i had no trouble whatsoever in this area,cant see the problem. I bought this plane as something to do and to use up some spare servo's and an SC12 i had around and its turned out to be the plane that lives in the boot of my car ready to fly whenever the chance pops up. It isnt a trainer but its not hard to fly at all,its not a 3D machine that can bite,just a nice sport aerobatic flyer,just small. Id recomend it to anyone,especially with an IC conversion,or brushless/lipo setup. Its meant to have a speed 400 in it which iguess would give really poor performance. Ive got some pics if anyone wants to see.

Im half way through building the werewolf that was a free plan from the begining of this year. Ive nearly finished the fuzzy and am about to move on to the wing,ive got an ASP 32 for it. Its a nice plan and has presented no probs so far. Has anyone got any more build and/or finished model pics apart from the ones allready on the site, it would be nice to see other peoples efforts.
