Thanks Timbo......I was wondering about a separate battery for the servos ,which I've seen suggested somewhere . If this is OK how do connect up the rx?

Hello - New boy here..........Just built a Nijhuis Spitfire -the freebe that came with the mag -and have fitted a 370 motor with gearbox. Fully rigged and with an 8 cell Ni battery fitted,  I need 1.5 lbs of ballast to get the c of g in the right  place.  Any polite suggestions appreciated.! My profile :  Ex RAF techie mostly choppers and Vulcans. Lapsed PPL- built and flew my home built KR2 until incompetence and the wife persuaded me to sell her( KR2 not wife). Started RC as a substitute but haven't flown yet. Have completed a Focker Eindeker and the freebe Hunter but haven't the bottle to unleash these potential missiles on the unsuspecting public!
