Hi Jon
An isocyanate is a 2 pack .Aerosols have a pull pin to release the hardener and have s short life after activation .As. John posted the solvents are best not inhaled and will likely pickle enamel paints . Tho polycynate is too vague to identify

Since air is about 78% nitrogen and the gas laws were worked out using air before chemistry really got going I think this nitrogen stuff is a money grab

It’s a common problem .An exothermic reaction heats up the reaction mixture .A rule of thumb says that rate of chemical reaction doubles with a rise of temp of 10 degrees C and so it goes on .Mix small quantities at a time and use a wide pot .

The seagull bowers flybaby is another good model .It’s very similar to the spacewalker but smaller at 69” span I have a 6 cell electric setup in mine

The O ring on the bottom of the carb is a source of erratic running if it’s in poor condition (crankcase compression loss)

Have a look at the jetworks website ,they have downloadable plans for edf jets .The plans are for smaller edf units but they can be printed at different sizes to suit your fan . There are files for 3D printed parts as well

I certainly agree that flutter is a model killer but I think that a weak servo is unlikely to cause it. It might even act as a damper!
The cause is usually aerodynamic - flexible linkages, poor static balance, play in hinges, excessive gaps etc.
Although plastic gears are more likely to fail if flutter is encountered, metal ones are more likely to develop play which might lead to flutter…
Totally agree with this

I had one back in the day with a supertigre 2500 It had 3001’s all round with no problem A metal gear on the elivator isn’t a bad idea if you have one

5 litres at 50:1 is 98ml of oil
5 litres at 30:1 is 161ml of oil
Adding 60 ml will get you to near as needs be 30:1. If it was me I would probably run it as it comes also.
That’s what I made it , there isn’t a law of conservation of volume so it’s not an exact science .Adding 100 ccs of oil to 5000 ccs of petrol doesn’t have to give 5100 ccs of 2 stroke
