OK top of the page click Create, then Gallery Image. It'll ask you if you want to create a gallery first, so do. Give it a go. I have a load of airshow pics uploading into one. Click on my Avatar, see if you can find it via there.

Bob I'll have a quick look now but it has been a couple of very long days. I will admit that when I looked at albums I was baffled too. I'm sure we'll work it out between us all .

Devcon don't give up so easily. In the next few days I think we'll be able to help you customise what you see so it is closer to the way you want to see the forum. It's early days but the Activity streams do give us a customisable way to sort what does appear to us by default.

No idea why you're having those issues Brian but I'll try to pass the questions on to the techies. Chris

There's actually no need to create albums unless you actually want one, Geoff. Photos can be added to posts direct from your device. Drag and drop, cut and paste or use the choose files feature to find them on your device.

Peter, no it's not, on the home page. It's been mentioned in another thread. We're just wondering how to make it more prominent that login's need to be from the Forums page.

Peter I just posted a "how to find your old photos" guide. However, if it's new photos you wish to post, you don't need an album. Just drag and drop them straight into a post, or cut and paste them, or use the chose files feature to find them on your PC

All our old photos have been copied across out of our old albums. Unfortunately the albums themselves couldn't be saved so all your pics are in one place. So, how do we find them? I think there are a number of ways, please post other methods below. Edit:- (I've just noticed that these notes apply to the "normal", i.e. PC, layout of the site and don't wholly help with the mobile version. Sorry.) Method 1 1) Click on your name or avatar to make your way to your profile 2) Click on "See My Activity" here- 3) Down the left hand column, click on "Images" like this- All your images should now appear below. 4) Top right of all the photos, there are three buttons to chose different ways to display them. One of the ways shows you the Upload dates. Method 2 OK that's them found. But there's another way that allows us to pick out date ranges or other ways to narrow them down. Using "My Activity Streams" 1) Click on My Activity Streams - 2) Choose "Content I Started - 3) In this area change the settings to Images and Any Time - You should now see images below and be able to chose a narrower Time period or sort them oldest first etc. 4) If you save the Activity Stream, give it a name, you'll be able to go straight back to it. Use this sandbox to try things in the new forum software. We'll probably get rid of the old one, along with the old forum user guides.

We're still working that out Brian. But think of it as a selective search where you've chosen the criteria. You can then save this as a new "stream". Then every time you want to see the same sort of stuff, click on that saved link.

Dai, try changing the default search options to "all of my search term words" and "content titles only" Like this:-

To move between thread pages. click on the page numbers , arrows or use the dropdown here

Click on your avatar then "see my activity". Then you can change what it's showing, chose Images. That's the way to you old legacy photos.

Have a good look at a few ways to find stuff. 1) The link/button top right that says something like "Unread Content". Once youve hit that then across the top are search options that you can change. Have a play. If you make a change you like you can save it as a "New Stream". If you like that enough, you can make it your default. That replaced the Unread Posts one. More can be done in streams under "My Activity Streams" 2)Searching - there are dropdowns to change the way searches work. e.g. hit "more options" and you'll see lots of options such as "members". Click that and the search will search for, er.. members. 3) There's so many places you can click. Click on an avatar and you'll go to that member's profile. In there you can soon see everything he's posted and sort the list as you wish.
