I understand the space issue but as you say, jack plugs do short out as you push them in and pull them out. Not a good idea at all with a high current battery. How about a small hatch disguised as a scale detail?

robk there will certainly be posts missing if they were made after last Thursday's cutoff. There were many warnings posted, over and over. Do you think the missing ones you are referring to are from before that?

That's a question that already gone to the IT guys. There should be a tick box by each of your own pics to select which you wish to delete or move. But there isn't.

I'll back Martin by also suggesting that the sort of facility requested is very unlikely to be available in a forum package like this. I don't know that, but I'd be very surprised. If that's the case, then the question is moot anyway. While we're taking on board all suggestions, in practice we're dealing with an established software package that has some degree of tweaking available by switching features on and off. We don't actually know what those are, in detail, either. What we don't have is a team of coders sat in a dark office ready to make things exactly how we'd like it. I've said elsewhere that I'm absolutely amazed that so much of the old forum was able to be saved. Keep the suggestions coming though.

Do you have a spec sheet for the BMS? I bought one for electric bike use, unused as yet. The spec sheet says it charges individual cells to 4.2V. that's spot on for Lipos. It also limits the charge current, I forget the figure. It limits the discharge current too, to 20A in my case. So both of these need to suit the battery and the use case.

Storage space costs money Ron. If you have a bigger video there's plenty of space on YouTube.

Just to clarify, when you're in the forum, clicking the RCM&E logo takes you to the home page of the forum. To go to the RCM&E mag homepage you need to click the link "RCM&E Home". In the desktop version, this is under the logo. I'm mobiles it's I. A drop-down from the 3 bars icon.

You don't even need to get the share link. Just copying the URL from the browser and paste that in, works.

The preferred method to post videos here is from YouTube or other video hosting service. Simply to copy the Link to the video and paste it here in the posting box. That's what I've done here However if you just have the video file on your device then one can be directly uploaded to a post, just like a photo. Except, the only file format that I've found works in all browsers is .mp4 files. If you need to convert anything else such as a .mov file from an apple device, one method is to use an online converter such as https://cloudconvert.com/ where you upload your file, let it do the conversion and then download the new one. That's what I did for another member to produce this one, which I've just dragged and dropped into this post here:- vulcan landing.mp4

Martin it's likely that you need to add a dictionary. Try here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/language-tools/ Use the British English Dictionary (Marco Pinto) After installing that you'll proably need to check the checkbox for spellchecking again.

Just wondering, does that method only show photos you've added to this platform? I went via your profile, then the See my activity button. Then chose Images from the column that appears on the left.

Once in Account Settings, there's a box on the right called Other Settings. In that box you'll see Notification Settings. Have a play in there. You should be able to get email notifications for "followed" topics. You'll also have to "Follow" the topics (Threads) that you want notifications about.

Do you know how many you had? I'm seeing 9 pages of yours and it looks like 25 pictures to a page so that's something over 200?
