After nearly two weeks of settled and mainly unseasonable warm weather we can safely say that someone has put the jet stream back where it belongs. The forecast for the next week is looking good, so no excuses. What have you crashed because you have forgotten how to fly and how many maidens have you bowled over? Spare those blushes and say goodbye to winter.

Well March starting next week was this week and the larks were ascending at the patch on Friday, so its officially spring. A couple of us made it out and for the 30 seconds that the sun came out it was quiet nice. Anyway lets wish for a better season then last year and may all your landings greasers. With the days getting shorter, it seems time to start a new thread on flying field/activity reports. That said, until the weekend, the autumn weather had been incredibly mild, we were down to t-shirts at the patch on Fri. The club mower is still seeing use. Long shadows in the afternoon. What a winter eh! It looked as if we might skip spring and advance straight to summer (or autumn) but yesterday was very nice down in Kent albeit with a chilly 13mph breeze and a few stronger gusts. Managed to start work on the photography backlog. Today looks like it'll be flyable too. Anyone else making the most of it? Edited By David Ashby - RCME on 07/04/2013 06:26:10
