John Horsfield
... has anyone bought or seen one yet? I know its a new model for 2010, and I like the slightly retro styling, the mid wing and the tricycle undercarrage. Ive had pretty good experiances from my Black horse twister so I'm very tempted by it. Opinions please!! http://www.ripmax.com/item.asp?itemid=A-BH071&Category=010-
simon barr
That looks nice John. Black Horse's response to Hangar 9's Saratoga, maybe? The lay-out is very similar, but the Saratoga is a tail-dragger.
Stephen Grigg
I like that John,I saw a review in World Modeller of another Black horse newby that looks even more like The Saratoga with an open cockpit, about the same price as the Saratoga also £245.Hopefully the Sprinter will be more competitevly priced

John Horsfield
Yeah the Ryan is nice as well, although I do need to hand launch as the flying site isnt that good, so not for me....
Stephen Grigg
Thats a bit of a handicap John,I started by hand launching in a farmers field.Ive recently been flying a GWS Texan that has no U/C and now have a mental block about hand launching.I have to get someone else to do it for me.So much so Im putting another Texan together complete with U/C.
