Cutting Balsa

Went to my LMS to pick up some triangular section.  Had the wood in my hand when I was asked to look at it and was it what I wanted.  It was cut at 3 angles of 60 degrees and not 2 at 45 and one at 90.  The problems they are having to explain this to there supplier.

Having been sharpening my modeling skills I bought sheet balsa with the thought that I would  just set a blade at 45 degrees and strip it down.  Naw, not so easy.  Grateful for any tips from the experienced balsa bashers on how to do it.

Hamish the new search facility on the forum works well these days

Perhaps, but a simple "Cutting balsa" brought nothing relating to triangular stock
