Delta Whiskey
Yes, I still fly a few models on 35mhz as well as some on 2.4ghz both Futaba. The aerial on the 35, broke at the top recently, and I went to just swop it from an older 2 channel set I had laying around, and noticed it was a bit longer. Then I remembered my early days before digital and realised it must have been for a different frrquency, and on checking the 2 channel Tx it was indeed a set for 27mhz. I found another 35mhz set and swopped the aerials over, I am correct in using the same length one? (logic tell me so, as to the sine wave signal amplitude?)Edited By Delta Whiskey on 21/04/2010 21:39:
Frank Skilbeck
Not quite, for instance the aerials on my 35 MHz Multiplex Tx (and older Fleet Tx) are longer than on the Futaba/JR sets. But if you are using the same length replacement then it should be fine..................
