David perry 1
I know its old hat now, but I could use a campac thing for my FF9. I cant bring myself to pay nigh on fifty quid for a memory card, and having just lost one on ebay for twelve, I am miffed! Is there anyone out there still making clones for sensible prices? Bob Cotsford
I couldn't see any when I was looking for one for my FF8, but I paid £8 + postage for a 32kb clone on ebay a month or two back. Keep looking, there are plenty out there.
Andy Gates
I bought a clone for my FF8 and it is still working superbly. Mine came from here (www.hansenhobbies.com ) when the exchange rate was more favorable than it is now.
David perry 1
Thanks guys for the advice. Just out of interest how does the kb memory size relate to model memories? Ie is 64kb one model or ten??? I note on the hansen models site one of their units unlocks the service menus: well what's my ff9 capable if that it can't do now? I know that some ham radio transceivers I've had in the past have useful but hidden menu functions but I can't imagine what a ff9 might be capable of!
