ericrw
Once again I've tripped my model on landing and the motor housing is ejected from the nose.. The problem is that the foam around the housing is becoming sparse and I'm having a problem re-inserting the housing and fixing it to the remaing foam. I'm only referring to small amounts being missed but sufficient to cause me to have an headache, Any idea's/suggestions would be appreciated. Eric. Bruce Richards
I would suggest using some foaming PU glue such as Gorilla Glue. That should fill all the spaces. Make sure you jig the motor securely because when PU glue foams it can push the glued components out of place.
Nick Farrow
Hi Eric, I would second the rhino/gorilla glue, I dont use anything else for construction or repair on all my foamies. When the nose is badly crunched I put in a blase block and pack the remaining foam around it. nick
