Augusto Posted July 24, 2010 Share Posted July 24, 2010 Hi folks, I'm from Porto - Portugal (in the North ) As said in my profile I started in the hobby when I was 14 years old; I used to assemble the Airfix kits (those in plastic bags...) when, in the 4th form, my English teacher lend me a few issues of RCM&E to improve my English with the readings... Well folks, my English didin't improve, as you can see, but I became an aeromodeller in a couple of days! and still reading RCM&E! We were in 1961! so I'm now almost 63 and still building and flying our birds. (One very good reason to feel nostalgic when I received the Anniversary Edition) I'm a structural engineer in the active, married, two sons (boys), one grand-son and a dog (Labrador). I use to build my models from plans and kits in the very traditional way; for the moment I'm building the OS2U Kingfisher from Brian Taylor (the Master). On this forum ,dear Augusto,I feel comfortable,becouse all forumiters are very tolerant and democratic and everybody know a lot about RC modeling.
