Thomas Garbutt
Hi All We have a wot 4 mk2 artf with a 65 up front. I was looking for some inner wing inserts - washers - whatever they are called that are similar to the blackhorse twister inserts. They are plastic. Just want to stop the holes from getting elongated. I have contacted tjd models and hobbystores with no success. do you know what they are called or where I can locate some thanks for your help Tom

Craig Carr
Hi Thomas, I think I know what you mean, they are like a plastic tube that are an "outer" for the wing bolt. I once had a model that came with them. These outers are glued into the hole and like you say helps prevent any "enlarging" of the hole via constant vibration or whatever. Cant say I have seen them commercially availiable but I have made my own in the past from some light ali tube from the local hobby shop, obviously you need them to be just wider than the bolt. Cut them to fit and glue into the hole Jobs a good un Craig
Thomas Garbutt
Thanks Ken ana Craig Have not had any luck in locating any but remembered that where I work we use a plastic locator for putting up letters on walls so am going to try the small locator and cut to length so will let you know if they work.
