Dan Brannon Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 As per the title, I live in Northampton and I'm looking for a beginner friendly club to help me get my A cert. I've looked on the BMFA website and its seems there are loads of options within a 30 ish minute drive around. Are there any members on here that belong to a club local to me ? Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 Hi Dan, in my experience most clubs extend a warm welcome to beginners - its one of the real strengths of our hobby. Afterall in what other pastime could you get free tuition? A very few clubs are bit cliquey and "political" - but I think they really are the exception to the rule. If someone comes forward on the forum and volunteers a club well and good - if not just make yourself a shortlist of 3-4 and arrange to visit them.
