Gary Eyre
I read with interest the article on Black Horse Twister. I bought one a few years ago to be able to use my Saito 45 4 stroke - which fitted o.k. on existing engine mount. I had to put lead in the tail to get C of G correct and fitted the spats for the 1st flights. quite happy with performance - altho found it twitchy when looping on full rates - was happier doing big loops on low rates One spat and wheel fell off in flight - made for interesting landing! I found the items after 30 mins search - and decided to remove the other spat. I had to strengthen the UC mounting after a bouncy landing took the UC off - have not had any further problems The Twister is still flying I thank it is good value for money Gary Eyre, Quairading, Western Australia Cheers! simon barr
Hello Gary. There are loads of these in our club, although, personally, I don't like them much . They are basically an artf version of the old Precedent Fun Fly kit from the '80s, which flew very well... BTW, the u/c problem is common to all of the Twisters...
