Goose10 Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 I have just got hold of an Alfa F-86 Sabre, which is a gorgeous model and looking forward to building; one thing which I need advice on. In respect of choice of receiver, apparantly I need to use a long wire receiver "due to the metal pigment in the paint". As I have a Spektrum DX6i, my preference is a compatable 2.4Ghz DSM2 receiver. Regular forumites will know the story Right - I started off with a twin ar7000 unit, but then changed to a 6100E park fly Rx in mine, with no extended aerial and had hundreds of trouble free flights. If you're still concerned, then my recommendation would be the AR500 or 600.
