(Sunday) Near enough no wind which made for rather fast landings, I was on the third outing with my nice new Edge and was landing rather to quick for my liking, so one of the more experienced flyers showed me the the way to bleed off speed by 'side slipping' the model. Wow, did it look impressive, after a few high approaches practising this manoeuvre I plucked up the courage to try a landing. It worked a treat, speed dropped off to a more acceptable pace and was followed by a smooth touch down. Probably will not be able to do it next week, but I will try.
