Geriatric Novice
Following a crash, the only damage to my Power 46 (apart from a bent shaft) appears to be a chipped bearing in the top (outermost) race of the rotating can. Horizon Hobby say that E-Fight do not do spares, so I am on my own. Has anyone tried to change this bearing? If so where did you get the replacement from?In particular there are two races at the top of the can - do they both drift out from the back or is there a web inbetween? ie are the bearings pressed in from different sides? Many Thanks Paul
James40
You need either, One 6 x 15 x 5mm Bearing, or Two 6 x 12 x 4mm Bearings. SKF only do 6 x 19 x 6 here However, here's one from a UK company. Just visit Simply Bearings and type in the size youre looking for. Hope that helps?
James40
This is probably a better bearing for a motor sealed bearing .
Geriatric Novice
Many thanks. I am on holiday at my son's in England at the moment. As soon as I get home to Scotland, I will have a go, and let you know how I got on. Paul.
Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Modelfixings do some small bearings....other than that type ball bearing suppliers into Google.....lots of on line suppliers. Or try a local bearing factors....if they don't have them in stock I'm sure they will be able to get you some in a day or two....

Geriatric Novice
Tony,Many thanks. I two complete sets from simplybearings.co.uk for £20 excluding postage.Summer and holidays have got in the way, but I have removed the 2 smaller bearings - they tapped out easily through the back (larger bearing). Only the front bearing is showing signs of damage, but I will replace all three. There is a youtube on changing bearings on a Power 90. I looked at Bocca bearings, but couldn't find a UK supplier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89B1b4nyIIA I will update once I have finished the job
