Conwy Soarer
Using a Nokia 5800 with an angle measuring app, I was wondering whether it could be used as an incidence meter to check decalage on one of my new OD projects. Anyway here it is, works a treat, 40 minutes with some balsa and cyano.
kevin wild
Fab Idea I tried this with my galaxy s, works great, you can calibrate the phone on the main wing then move it to the tail. as long as the model doesn't move you can get a true reading kevEdited By kevin wild on 22/08/2011 01:00:
twinstar
For zero decalage: adjust the fuse so the LE and TE are the same height above a flat surface. = wing at zero incidence to flat surface, Then adjust the tail so that the LE and TE are the same height above the same flat surface Thus, tail is at zero incidence to flat surface too. Result is tail at zero angle relative to wing.
