CARPERFECT
Replies are a little slow, maybe because the Hitec is new. So can anybody tell me if you can buddy any Hitec tx to any Futaba tx ?
Devon Flyer
Generally speaking, you can buddy most different brands. So long as all the plane settings, trims, mixes etc are set up to be controlled by the Master Tx, the Slave Tx only acts as a set of sticks. I have buddied Futaba to Hitech in the past.On Futaba sets you can choose whether controls are set to those of the Master or the Slave in the Trainer menu. Chris Channon
Hi, Yep, Hi-Tec to futaba is fine, i used a skysport 6 to an optic 6 years ago with no problems, 100% perfect, i have just ( ok, a month or two a go) used a futaba 6ex to a Hi-Tec , again no problems. Just make sure that both are set to the same mode !!!!!! Don't ask ! Regards Chris.

Malcolm Fisher
I don't know about 2.4 GHz sets, but as an experiment years ago a friend and I connected a Hitec and Futaba 35 MHz transmitter via a buddy lead. I fly Mode 2 and he Mode 1. There were no problems whichever set was set as Master. Malcolm

Chris Channon
Hi Devon, hehehe, what i meant was make sure that both Tx's are set to the mode that you fly, one guy spent ages setting up the buddy , he had the throttle into channel 2 rudder etc in all the wrong outputs on the Rx, turned out he flies on mode 2 but the Tx was in another mode so to get round this he was trying to just swap outputs / servo's and it still would not work , then we noticed that the modes were different but was trying to fly and buddy as if both Tx on mode 2 !!
