Tim A
Has anyone got a plan or know where I can get one for a Fairey Fulmar? Thinking of building one as my winter project next year - 50 to 60 inch span suitable for leccy. My father flew them in the Fleet Air Arm in WW11 and said of all the aircraft ( including Spitfires, Seafires, Rocs, Harvards, Defiants etc) he flew it was the nicest to fly. So I thought as a tribute to him I might build one, but I can't find a plan! At 92 he's still going strong so I guess I have time!
leccyflyer
Hi Tim Would this fit the bill - a 53" span PSS design by Alan Hulme that you could possibly convert for electric power http://www.myhobbystore.co.uk/product/16161/rm425--fairey-fulmar-pss It;s in the online shop here. Tim A
Hi Thanks Leccyflyer, It's a possibility but has anyone one built one? A bit more detail would help as I intend to make it as scale as possible.
Tim A
Finally found a suitable plan after a whole lot of late night tea & sticky buns on the interweb. It's a 60inch span from RCM plans, arrived two weeks ago and should convert to leccy power without too much trouble. Now if I can just finish the Miles Monitor I might be able to make a start by this winter.
