Richard Wood
Hi Colin, I'm fairly sure a Seagull Spacewalker electric conversion by Tim Mackey was included in an RCME Special Edition a couple of years ago & was very successful by all accounts. It's also listed in the electric setup database - which you'll find a link to on the home page here.

Devon Flyer
I converted a Seagull Spacewalker II to electric using a Turnigy motor like THIS. I also used a 60A opto speed controller, Vapextech Instant Rx pack, 5000mAh 4s Turnigy lipos and a 14 x 8 prop. Flies extremely well. I have used the same set up on a Seagull AT6 with excellent results. The battery access on the Spacewalker is a doddle. Just mount a battery platform, resting on the former behind where the fuel tank would sit. Cut out the top of the front cockpit platform and make it into a hatch, using the pilot as a 'handle'. Redex
Hi Devon Flyer - just wondering what sort of flight times you get with this power train.
