ColinJ
Thinking of buying this model as i have always liked it,its the very large one with the following. Wing Span 82.7ins Length 58.7ins. Wing area 1086 sq ins Flying weight 11 lb It comes with a CCRC 26 cc engine,as i dont know the first thing about petrol engines or come to that i can include nitros as well, more into electrics,i would be very grateful if members could give me some advise on the reliabilty and quality of this engine,i do have have "Harry Hilgleys Book --All About Engines" but it does not cover petrol engines, tempted to buy this model but dont know whether it would a wise move. Paul Marsh
It will fly well with the 26cc. Although Petrol is nice, I have a Balsa USA one, the same scale with a 160 flat twin, both around 26 ish cc. Have 2 Crrc engines, the Mk I and Mk II. The Mk II has automatic advance/retard CDI, making hand starts easier. The Mk I is good, but needs a good flick, or better with an electric start. Started the MkII a few days ago. Not ran for almost a year, and after priming, went on the second flick. Buy the model, and get someone experianced to check it over/set-up/test fly. Actually this model had a Zenoah G23cc in before I had it, and flew well, even though the Zen. is not that powerful. The newer 26cc will go well.
