Devcon1
Hi All, Just come back from seeing the Heli flying at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in the "Zone" competition. In two words....... Absolutely Incredible. I've never seen 3D flying like this before, I'm a general fixed wing scale, fun flyer and dabble with Helis but nothing more than circuits. What these guys were doing with these machines took my breath away. Look for the young frenchman DunKan Bossion doing a night flying demo on youtube. simon burch
This was the victory flight of the winner and the second place chap who unfortunately crashed not long into his final flight of the competition. The flying was beyound words....amazing. Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 30/05/2012 08:29:
Chris Bott - Moderator
Simon that video has taken the thread under the ads, I'll shrink it a bit. Could you read the tutorial here please? particularly the bit about setting the width. Yep we know, it shouldn't be like this, but it's how things are until changes can be made. Ta. Now - I'll have a good watch of the vid
simon burch
Must have missed that. Seems to change so often its hard to keep up with the forum. Worked the last time I did it, but will try to remember next time.
Chris Bott - Moderator
Thanks, that's impressive stuff in the video. Heli's leave me a bit cold, but how on earth they keep up with what their machine is doing and just what it's orientation is, is totally beyond me. Great stuff.
