Delta Whiskey
Do I really have to buy a programming card to enable the brake setting or has anyone found a way around this?
slippyr4
You can program brake just fine from the transmitter. Are you having bother with it?
Delta Whiskey
Thanks for responding slippyr4 ! Yes, I cannot get the brake on. I've tried the normal proceedure for a different make esc I have, like moving the throttle to max while connecting battery, waiting for 2 bleeps them throttle to off, no joy ! Think I recall reading that on this esc a programming card is required.......?
slippyr4
The instructions for both the pentium and guard series of ESC from hobbywing, in all sizes, are the same. Although i've not got a 25A guard, i've got two in other sizes and programming has never been a problem. Here is a link to the instructions:- http://www.leaderhobby.com/img/menu/ESCManual.pdf If you can't get it into program mode, it could be that your throttle channel needs reversing? (make sure you take the prop off before you play with that though).
Kevin Fairgrieve
I am very new to electric and when I started I got a program card. For me for less than £5.00 it was a bit of a no brainer. HOBBY WING CARD Kev
