What to do with Terry S ?

My aileron equipped Terry S has had a sudden impact with Terra Firma after it decided to roll of it's own accord suddenly and uncontrollaby. Most likely cause being a stripped and locked servo gear which was apparent immediately after said impact.

Upon close inspection the model is fine apart from the front end which is deformed beyond recognition, and the prop and spinner broken beyond repair. Luckily, the motor, ESC + other leccy bits seem to be in working order.

Now, I'm wondering how to proceed forward and have identified a few options.

1. I could try to repair the nose, buy and fit new prop, spinner and servo and continue to fly the model as before.

2. As above but revert back to RET.

Both the above depend upon a successful repair and extra cost!

So......

3. I could use the Motor/ESC in my Elektro Uhu as a direct replacement for the stock brushed set-up which is on it's last legs. Would be nice to have more get up and go for gaining height quickly.

4. Then repair the nose of the Terry, forget a motor and use it as a pure sloper, either with or without ailerons.

What would you do in my position?

Steve.
