liam bennett
Hello, Over the last few months i've noticed around the rear of the cockpit area the foam starts to weaken. This was no problem until last weekend when after i clipped the left wing after a sudden gust while landing and it flipped, hitting the nose on the ground. I now have some crease marks in the foam. I've added 3mm carbon rod supports on both sides. I'd recomend anyone with a plane like this E.g; Bixler easystar anx floater etc... To add some support or watch the area. Hope this helps somebody, Enjoy flying! Liam
Mart49
When my Hawk sky arrived, I used reinforced packing tape and taped the nose, cockpit, leading edges and wing tips and full length under the fuse. I'm glad I did as I've had quite a number of less than perfect landings, and it has survived! Good shout to pronlong the fun!
Rex Keene
I covered my Dynam glider with very thin glass finre and poly c. Gives a lovely finish, considerable strength and throughly inoculated it against hanger rash for a cost of 28 Grammies . worth the extra time.
