The sun came out this morning and it wasn't too windy, which was a nice suprise! So off to the strip I went with "Splinter"

First a few photographs....

And with a potential donor!

I flew her with a standard 2200 mah 3 cell battery which was better CofG wise than the maiden flight with an 1800mah but I decided to add just 5 g to the tail. Not far out then!

Being happy with the CofG I decided to hand her over to a club mate so that I could get some video. Brian was at the field, so I asked him to fly 'Splinter.' As you will see, Brian didn't need to be asked twice....! I did my best to track the flight, but apologies for the times when I lost him! The filming gets better as the flight progresses!

The trick apparently is put the camera onto a tripod but rather than standing it on the floor, hold the tripod like you are using a rifle/shotgun and follow the plane but without looking at the LCD/ viewfinder on the camera.

It is a very nice plane- could you release it as a plan?
